Qualifications of a State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) :
- Satisfactory completion of Nurse Aide training program
- Current Nurse Aide license from Ohio in good standing
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with eating and drinking, ambulating, transferring, toileting, bladder and bowel management,
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, turning and positioning,
- Documenting the care provided
- Providing treatment per the ADL/treatment book
- Answering resident call bells and responding to needs promptly.
