About the Role
Clarvida is hiring a School‑Based Mental Health Counselor in New Kensington , PA. This part‑time role (2‑3 days/week) offers competitive hourly rates, travel compensation, and opportunities for licensed clinicians to earn more than the non‑licensed scale. As a School‑Based Mental Health Counselor, you will provide individual and family therapy inside schools, maintain timely clinical documentation, ensure compliance with state/local regulations, and travel between school sites or appointment locations—all aligned with Clarvida’s person‑centered, trauma‑informed care model.
Responsibilities
●  Provide individual and family therapy for assigned caseload within Mohawk Area School District (elementary, middle, high school levels)
●  Maintain clinical documentation in a timely and compliant manner
●  Travel to appointment sites, schools, or other required locations as outlined in program requirements
●  Adhere to state and local regulatory requirements pertaining to school‑based mental health services
●  Collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners to support clients
Required Qualifications
●   Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or similar clinical field from an accredited institution
●   Verified clinical practicum or internship completed
●  Licensed (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in Pennsylvania OR willing to work under non‑licensed rate if license is not held
●  Willingness to travel between school and appointment sites (up to 100% travel possible)
