What does a Maintenance Technician at Hoffman Auto Group do? 



Role Purpose



Ensure proper maintenance of buildings, properties and follow policies, practices and procedures.



Leadership



This role does not lead others



Core Accountabilities




  1. Ensure the safety of employees and customers through the proper and timely maintenance of all Hoffman properties.

  2. Ensure that all assigned work orders are completed and closed in a timely manner.

  3. Maintain total responsibility for the repairs and maintenance of lighting issues, HVAC, roofing, flooring, plumbing, walls damage, paint, light carpentry, and other issues that may arise.

  4. Clean driving record with a state of Connecticut license is a must.

  5. Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  6. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications



  1. High school diploma or equivalent, technical / trade school preferred.

  2. 5 years’ work experience with facilities type maintenance and or construction.

  3. Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills to work as a team.

  4. Must have the ability to adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset

  5. Act as an advocate for teammates and have a strong commitment to making all repairs right the first time.

  6. Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

  7. Ability to own and drive projects from planning to execution.
