Control Risks is seeking an experienced crisis management, business continuity and resilience professional who delights in being both an “individual contributor” and a key team player, leading, developing, managing and delivering high quality complex projects to clients across the region.
The selected applicant will be required to work within the Crisis and Security Consulting team to develop and service clients throughout South Asia or other such locations as they may be directed by the Company, including Australia Pacific, Greater China, and beyond.
You will build and maintain successful relationships with existing Control Risks clients and identify and pursue new clients and business opportunities to expand the resilience and crisis management practice in the region.
You are forward looking, able to advise clients at middle and senior management level on resilience and crisis decision making, crisis response and developing effective resilience and crisis management frameworks and high functioning crisis management teams.
You will have prior experience working in a client-facing management consulting position and are well networked within the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong and profitable client relationships across a portfolio of multinationals, NGO’s and Government clients.
- Working closely with existing resources in the market, generate commercial opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Lead on the scoping and delivery of resilience consulting tasks including crisis management planning and training, risk management, and business continuity.
- Utilise specialist resources from around the APAC region and the Group to profitably deliver high quality outcomes for clients.
- Conduct and assess training and exercises for management teams to test and validate an organisation’s crisis management and business continuity capability.
- Assist the development of strategic, tactical and operational level instruments including crisis and business continuity management documents to internationally recognised standards or practices customised for individual organisations.
- Actively contribute to thought leadership, marketing and business development activities in South Asia and throughout the region.
- Prepare and submit verbal and written reports to a high standard for the use of internal or external stakeholders.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with staff, contractors, joint venture partners, government representatives, particularly police and military, regulatory bodies and industry groups.
- Work as part of small teams including as part of client teams or with external contractors/consultants.
- Support internal service lines.
- Provide support in the development and editing of proposals.
- Assist in the development of capability statements and other collateral requested by clients.
- Provide research support as required for tasks.
