Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join Filer High School as an Assistant Principal. This full-time position requires a passionate educator who is committed to fostering a positive learning environment, supporting student achievement, and collaborating with faculty, staff, and parents. Responsibilities
- Assist the Principal in the overall administration of the school, including daily operations and long-term planning.
- Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school’s educational programs and policies.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance instructional practices and improve student outcomes.
- Oversee student discipline, ensuring a safe and respectful environment conducive to learning.
- Engage with parents, guardians, and the community to foster strong relationships and support student success.
- Monitor and assess student progress, implementing intervention strategies as necessary.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff members.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.
- Valid administrative credential or license as required by state regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role preferred.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and student assessment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders, including students, parents, and staff.
