 Job Summary

The Project Supervisor is the primary on-site leader responsible for the daily execution of heavy civil projects, roadway, site work, excavation and environmental restoration for Sarasota, Charlotte and Lee County area. This position could lead to complex projects and growth in 2026.

Core Responsibilities:

· Site Supervision: Direct and coordinate field crews and diverse subcontractors (excavation & dewatering) to ensure project milestones are met.

· Scheduling & Logistics: Develop "lookahead" schedules and coordinate the timely delivery of heavy equipment, tools, and materials.

· Quality Control: Inspect work in progress to ensure it strictly conforms to blueprints, technical specifications, and municipal codes.

· Safety Enforcement: Facilitate site-specific safety programs, conduct weekly "toolbox talks," and ensure 100% compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.

· Daily Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of workforce numbers, weather conditions, equipment usage, and project progress.

· Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the on-site point of contact for project managers, engineers, clients, and local officials. 

Requirements

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex civil engineering blueprints and site layouts.
