SUMMARY: Almo is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to join our Planning & Procurement Center of Excellence. This role is central to ensuring accurate and efficient procurement operations across the company. The Procurement Analyst will review and approve purchase order requisitions, support business units with data-driven insights, and serve as a subject matter expert on inventory, demand planning, and supply chain management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procurement & Planning Operations
- Analyze, validate, and approve purchase order requisitions to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals.
- Maintain and optimize inventory levels across multiple distribution centers.
- Monitor supply plans, demand forecasts, and inventory performance metrics.
- Identify discrepancies, shortages, or planning risks and proactively recommend corrective actions.
Business Analytics & Reporting
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business units, finance, distribution centers, and operations
- Develop meaningful reports and dashboards that support decision-making on inventory, procurement, and forecasting.
- Provide insights into buying trends, lead times, stock availability, and demand variability.
- Analyze large data sets to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Purchasing, Category Management, Operations, Finance, and Business Unit leaders to support company performance objectives.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Train and support users in understanding procurement and planning processes, tools, and best practices.
Process & Tool Optimization
- Leverage demand planning tools to support forecasting and planning accuracy.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance procurement efficiency and inventory health.
Support the development and documentation of planning standards and procedures.
