Teachers for 2026 Regular Education Summer Program
The district is seeking teachers for students entering grades 1 - 6 for summer school programming with a focus on improving student growth in both literacy and numeracy. The final number of teachers is dependent on final student enrollment numbers.

There will be an additional day of prep prior to the start of the program. Please note scheduled days and hours are subject to change based on our student needs. A wage of $51 per hour will be paid.
These positions are contingent upon available funding and final student enrollment.
Torrington Public School personnel qualified for, certified for, and interested in the above must apply online by midnight, May 6, 2026.
Please note this is a 3-week summer commitment plus commitment to the prep prior to the start of the program.
