Job Description

DUTIES:

  • Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Reviews and Updates Vault entries.
  • Accounts payable.
  • Accounts Receivables/Cash Receipting.
  • Assists Finance Manager and/or CFO with bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records.
  • Reconciles Pre-paid expenses.
  • Records Progressive Slots liability.
  • Retrieves and processes documents requested by third parties including, but not limited to credit card disputes, chargebacks, and returned items.
  • Prepares and enters data into the Sage 100 system.
  • Maintains and organizes General Ledger files and supporting documents.
  • Must always practice and maintain confidentiality.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

SKILLS:

  • Ability to uphold the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Familiarity and experience with general office equipment, including but not limited to 10-Key calculator by touch, computerized financial systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively respond to inquiries from vendors, managers, and employees.
  • Ability to communicate information through spoken words and sentences that others will understand in a positive manner.
  • Ability to complete assessments accurately and timely.
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of audits performed.
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee the Finance Department in the absence of the Finance Manager.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Two to four years’ related experience and/or training preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • High School Diploma or GED; 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

 

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Must be 18 at time of hire.
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs or more.
  • Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
  • Must have Covid Vaccinations, including booster.
  • Must have a valid Wyoming Driver’s License
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
