Job Description

Position Summary (Ask About our Sign on Bonus)

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers along designated routes in a company vehicle while providing excellent customer service. This role requires adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and applicable DOT/FTA requirements. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a shuttle bus or passenger van (up to 24 passengers) in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies

  • Provide courteous and professional customer service to all passengers

  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly

  • Maintain accurate trip logs and required documentation

  • Adhere to assigned schedules and designated routes

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle

  • Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns immediately

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license

  • CDL with P Endorsement

  • Clean driving record

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen (we are a zero tolerance workforce)

  • Ability to pass background screening, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug and alcohol testing

  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and assist passengers as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous shuttle, transit, or commercial driving experience preferred but not required

  • Knowledge of the Memphis area

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely operate a vehicle for extended periods

  • Ability to bend, lift, and assist passengers when necessary

Work Environment

  • On-road driving in varying weather conditions

  • Interaction with the public on a daily basis


Hours of Operation and Routes Taken:

  • 24 passenger van 
  • Route taken Front Street (between Adams and Jefferson)>Monroe Street
  • Shifts current offered: 1)  05:45 am-09:15/09:30, 2:45 pm- 6 pm   2) 05:45 am - 6:00 pm with hour break or lunch
