FOOD & BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER - Holland Civic Center Place

LOCATION: Holland, MI

DEPARTMENT: F&B

REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER

STATUS: PART-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Food & Beverage Team Members is responsible for assisting with our food & beverage areas to provide quality service as well as consistent food and beverage products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Assist customers as needed with outstanding customer service to take orders for food, snacks, drinks, and treats
  • Operate an electronic cash register and credit card machine
  • Ability to accurately complete sales transactions using cash register/POS System
  • Assist with food prep and cooking
  • Lend support to other leaders and team members
  • Keep all food service areas clean and neat
  • Balance cash drawer at end of shift
  • Setup/breakdown rooms with tables and chairs according to floor plan
  • Other various duties as assigned management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Willingness to follow directions
  • Friendly customer service demeanor
  • Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons
  • One year of customer service experience with general public preferred
  • Prior experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • May be required to stand for extended periods of time
  • Facility has intermittent noise
