Hot Route, LLC, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), is seeking reliable, dedicated, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as delivery drivers. Our DSP is independently owned and partners with Amazon to ensure timely and efficient package deliveries. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Helper to assist our delivery team in providing exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service. This position involves heavy lifting, route driving, and working closely with the delivery driver to load and unload items safely.

Location:100 Precision Drive Shirley, New York

Compensation: $17 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver in loading and unloading products from the delivery vehicle.
• Work 4-5 days per week and up to 10 hours per day with shifts available seven days a week
• Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
• Help deliver 250 or more packages ranging from envelopes to boxes up to 50lbs
• No delivery experience or driver’s license required. (This is not a driver position).
• Ensure that all items are securely loaded and organized within the delivery vehicle.
• Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.

Requirements

• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid ID or valid US passport
• Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1 WEEK to COMPLETE.
• Must be willing to work in various weather conditions
