Job Description: This is a
full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is
performed at a customer’s location. As an Emerging Technology Systems Engineer
on our team, you will support the customer in establishing and formalizing
approaches that will underpin formal requirements and processes supporting
customers. This role will contribute to the development of sections of
systems engineering documentation such as Systems Engineering Plans,
Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents. This role
involves planning, monitoring, and generating systems engineering artifacts to
assist the government with facilitating technology transition into and out of
the capabilities architecture, and works with the government to facilitate, lead
and document decision meetings to engage stakeholders in accomplishing the
work. The role will also help define the methods, processes, and evaluation
criteria by which the systems, subsystems and work products are verified
against their requirements in a written plan.
Requirements
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
- Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical
Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and at least 15 years
of systems engineering experience. A Master’s or PhD Degree may be substituted
for two years of experience. Note: A High School Diploma or GED plus 19 years
of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable. - Operational experience of customer systems
- Significant experience with Intelligence Community
customers, their missions and infrastructures. - Ability to establish and maintain strong working
relationships with customers. - Demonstrated customer interface experience in eliciting
technical requirements. - Experience working on project development from requirements
definition to deployment.
