Position Details

Position Summary

Deliver care to patients under the direction/delegation of the Registered Diagnostic Tech or Clinical Leader, as needed, and must be able to perform satisfactorily the specific patient care skills, department skills, exam skills as outlined by the facility and the department(s). Must effectively interact with patients, families and other health team members. Must report pertinent information to the RT or clinical leader assigned by the Technologists, as needed, and respond to requests for information in a timely manner. Assist with tasks to support patient care and exam details.

  • Verify patient ID/Procedure requested/allergies
  • Preparation of Rad room or Portable
  • Performs quality control testing and quality assurance activities
  • Understands and complies with regulatory and accreditation standards
Competencies & Skills

Essential:

  • Basic Diagnostic Radiology skills to include techniques per patient habitus
  • Basic skills and knowledge of Radiology
Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • High School or Equivalent 

Essential:

  • Currently enrolled in JCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology 

Essential:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
