Position Summary:

Assist internal customers through retrieving and delivering storeroom parts and equipment instrumental to maintaining plant equipment.

Essential Functions:

  • Retrieve /Deliver Storeroom parts efficiently and accurately, verifying correct specifications and quantities are received and documents are processed and filed accordingly.
  • Maintain storeroom inventory by recording and processing delivery notes in D365.
  • Maintain inventory levels/records on stock items as assigned, maintains information on equipment and equipment location.
  • Assist department with housekeeping measures to ensure a clean, safe work environment.
  • Maintain storeroom organization, keeping it clean and free of clutter and obstacles or safety hazards.
  • Work together with procurement department to ensure availability and traceability of spare parts and other storeroom items.
  • Process outbound deliveries and ensuring that all transactions have supporting documents and approvals.
  • Complete all Storeroom Clerk tasks while remaining in compliance with departamental procedures, instructions and environmental requirements.
  • Operate fork-lift (stand-up and standard) to load/unload stock and transport inventory.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to perform well in time crunched situations and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to effectively work with others in a service critical environment

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of MRPII systems, such as D365.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, particularly Word & Excel.
