Job Description

   


USD 320, Wamego Public School system, has vacancies for Substitute Teachers for the 2025-2026 school year.  A valid Kansas Teaching License or a valid Kansas Emergency Substitute License is required for this position.  Substitute teachers will be paid $68.10 for working 4 hours or less each day.  If you work more than 4 hours per day you will earn $136.19 for that day. 


Long term substitutes (those working 10 or more consecutive days for the same teacher) will earn $170.25 per day.


 


Do NOT submit your application until you have a valid Emergency Substitute Teacher License or a valid Kansas Teaching License.  See bottom of posting for information on substitute teaching licenses or call Kansas Department of Education at 785-296-1105.
