This opportunity is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible Oral Surgeon looking for a long-term role with flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and partnership potential.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oral Surgeon to join our growing team at First Impressions, S.C. As an Oral Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implant placements, corrective jaw surgery, and other oral surgeries. This position offers flexibility with a schedule across multiple locations, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on the oral health of our young patients.

Qualifications

• Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency
• State Licensure/Ability to obtain a state license.  
• Strong experience in pediatric oral surgery, including experience with sedation and general anesthesia in children.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with the ability to build trust with young patients and their families.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and ease the concerns of both children and parents.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with other specialists.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in oral surgery.

Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of oral surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, jaw realignment, and more.
• Diagnose and treat oral conditions requiring surgical intervention, such as impacted teeth, oral pathologies, and trauma.
• Work closely with pediatric dentists, orthodontists, and other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients and their families about treatment options, procedures, and recovery expectations.
• Ensure a calm, supportive, and child-friendly environment to help reduce anxiety for young patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with industry standards.
• Stay current with advancements in oral surgery and continue to develop professional skills through ongoing education.
