Behavior Technician (BT)

AllTheWay ABA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated behavior technician to join our wonderful team!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Choose your own hours, Monday to Friday. Weekends are available as needed.

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Behavior Technician (BT) Job Summary:

The BT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients, primarily focusing on children with behavioral challenges.

Behavior Technician (BT) Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and improve overall functioning.

  • Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation in compliance with organizational standards.

  • Provide behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors effectively.

  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop care plans that align with client needs and goals.

  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions.

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health.

Qualifications of the Behavior Technician (BT):

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is preferred.

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental or behavioral disorders, is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and patient care practices is essential.

  • A background in implementing care plans is an advantage.
