The Assistant Spa Manager supports the Spa Manager in overseeing daily spa operations, ensuring that service excellence, operational consistency, and brand standards are upheld across all spa functions. This role focuses on team leadership, guest experience enhancement, and financial contribution through productivity management and strategic planning.

Reporting directly to the Spa Manager, the Assistant Spa Manager plays a key role in developing supervisors and senior therapists, ensuring seamless coordination between departments, and maintaining the highest standards of wellness service delivery.


Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership
Supervise and guide daily spa operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
Ensure all treatments and guest journeys are delivered in alignment with luxury spa standards.
Implement and maintain standardized operating procedures for treatments and spa services.
Monitor compliance with safety, hygiene, and wellness protocols.

2. Team Development & Communication
Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to supervisors, senior therapists, and team members.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous professional development.
Facilitate regular briefings and training sessions to reinforce service excellence.
Encourage a positive team culture built on collaboration and accountability.

3. Guest Experience Excellence
Monitor service delivery and proactively resolve guest concerns.
Recommend personalized wellness programs tailored to guest needs.
Ensure treatments consistently meet luxury brand quality benchmarks.
Drive guest satisfaction and repeat visitation through exceptional service.

4. Facilities & Interdepartmental Coordination
Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to maintain immaculate spa facilities.
Ensure all wellness equipment (yoga pavilion, gym, Pilates studio, treatment rooms) is safe and fully operational.
Maintain a serene and professional spa environment at all times.

5. Inventory & Financial Contribution
Monitor spa retail and professional inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and replenishment.
Support revenue targets through retail upselling and treatment optimization.
Assist in budget control and productivity planning to enhance financial performance.
