The Field Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• Organize, oversee, and document the installation of horizontal wells.
• Field QA/QC
• On-the-job training- by working as part of a crew that uses horizontal directional drilling (HDD) primarily to install environmental remediation wells.
• Growing knowledge of the HDD process to be able to organize, direct, and ensure the quality of the product that Ellingson is installing.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, or environmental science is required.
• Extensive travel is required as our projects are located throughout the United States.
• An ambitious person with a willingness to step in and get dirty.
• Strong mechanical skills are beneficial.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are a must, both to be able to communicate effectively with the Ellingson team and the supervising consultant.
