    Position Title: Fine Arts Administrative/Tech Assistant

    Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM � 4:00 PM, with nights/weekends as necessary

    Education:  High School diploma or GED

    Salary Schedule: Secretary 1

    Reports to:  Fine Arts Coordinator

    Contract:  260 days

    FLSA Classification: Non-exempt

    Position Overview
    The Fine Arts Administrative/Tech Assistant plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the Center for Arts and Learning as well as the greater Fine Arts department. Reporting directly to the Fine Arts Coordinator, this position ensures that fine arts spaces function efficiently, supports internal and external stakeholders, and completes a wide range of administrative, operational, and event-related responsibilities.
    Primary Responsibilities
    Provide administrative support to Fine Arts staff and serve as the receptionist for the Center for Arts and Learning.
    Support daily building operations by ensuring shared spaces are well maintained, secured, and ready for internal and external use.
    Maintain a calendar for deliveries and other scheduled building activities.
    Report facility issues and maintenance needs to the Fine Arts Coordinator.
    Utilize the district's facility-use platform to maintain schedules for all internal and external users and assist with coordinating technical-support needs.
    Complete room setup, teardown, and periodic inspections, with assistance available as needed to meet event requirements.
    Provide event coordination, gallery support, and facility-rental assistance as directed.
    Support special projects and event-specific logistics.
    Collaborate with shared-space staff for joint events.
    Assist with graphic design projects and basic technical-support needs for events 
    Assist with social media posting calendar for Fine Arts Department
    Assist fine arts administrators with the planning and execution of Fine Arts projects and events.
    Coordinate the display and rotation of artwork onsite.
    Assist fine arts staff with equipment inventory.
    Manage concessions inventory and report supply needs to the Fine Arts Department.
    Perform other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications and Skills
    Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) preferred.
    Basic understanding of sound and lighting technology, theater equipment, and video equipment, or willingness to learn and develop proficiency.
    Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including technical staff, educators, shared-space partners, and external renters.
    Strong attention to detail and ability to manage inventory and schedules.
    Ability to lift and move items as needed for event setups and teardowns, including chairs and tables.
    Commitment to providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
