Description

ROLE

As a Somerpointe Podium Speaker your role is focused on introducing Somerpointe Resorts to assigned tours through an approved, scripted presentation.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To present a high-energy sales presentation in a group setting, discussing the multiple benefits of vacation ownership.
  • To ensure professionalism and excellence in podium presentation as well as included materials and equipment.
  • To provide a high level of time management including presentation time and down-time.
  • To drive sales results and achieve budgeted sales targets.
  • To assess performance trends of Sales Representatives and provide regular feedback to Sales Managers.
  • To embrace change and align with strategic direction of Somerpointe Resorts.
  • To consistently demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with team members, management, members, owners, and guests.
  • To complete all required company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
  • To adhere to company standards and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures. 
  • To perform other related duties as assigned by management. 
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to perform as a confident communicator who is able to adapt his or her strategy and approach to reach varied groups and individuals.
  • Strong memorization skills.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Positive and upbeat attitude to ensure a great work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
  • Competent in public speaking.
  • A minimum (1) year of experience in the vacation ownership and public speaking field required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
