Here's The Role

Irrigation Operations is looking for a highly motivated Instrumentation and Controls Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and possess industrial troubleshooting skills. If you have a passion for working on innovative systems and being part of a great company, then we want you to apply!


How You’ll Contribute

  • Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot control and monitoring equipment and systems.
  • Design and develop PLC programs.
  • Diagnose and support SCADA Networks.
  • Document system and equipment changes using established processes.
  • Assist LCRA Irrigation and partner business units as needed. 

How You’re Qualified

  • Two or more years' experience in installation, maintenance and/or repair of instrumentation, control equipment or monitoring equipment or relevant experience.
  • Degree in electronics, instrumentation, SCADA, engineering technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver's license required if traveling to work at various locations.
