Job Description:

The High School Summer internship will enable students to build their resume, network with our employees, and gain relevant work experience early on in their careers.  Fidelity’s goal is to provide interns with experiences that will take them far beyond the classroom and help provide a foundation for a lasting career. 

We are currently accepting applications for opportunities across a variety of functions including but not limited to: Communications, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations & Technology for summer 2025. Students will be placed into roles that align with their interests and capabilities.  

             

Responsibilities may include the opportunity to

  • Hands-on Learning Experience: Assist with various tasks and projects to gain practical knowledge in a professional environment.

  • Skill Development: Develop communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while working under the guidance of mentors.

  • Career Exploration: Gain exposure to different career paths and industries to help identify future academic and professional interests.

Education and Experience

  • The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated leadership or initiative in studies and extracurricular activities as well as an academic and intellectual interest in financial markets.  

  • Current rising high school senior or college first-year

Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

  • Ability to manage projects, juggle multiple priorities and manage to deadlines 

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn 

  • Analytical skills or intellectual curiosity

  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Dates:

  • July 6 – August 6

  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm

The base salary range for this position is $18 - $21 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M–F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
