About the Job: Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services seeks an Sprayground Attendant to perform facility, program, and supervisory duties in accordance with Recreation Services Program Standards.
Job Type: This is a seasonal (at-will) position with benefits limited to those required by applicable state and federal laws, which include Worker's Compensation, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, and PERA (Public Employees' Retirement Association).
Work Schedule: Thursday-Sunday, 4-7 hours/day during the summer; possible rental and food pantry distribution during school year as needed.

As a Sprayground attendant, you will:
- Assist in supervising sprayground (waterpark) visitors and onsite volunteers
- Assist in upkeep and maintenance of the sprayground, pavilion, and community center
- Assess needs and interests of customers
- Prioritize daily job duties and maintain a safe and clean environment at all times
- Provide necessary first aid; complete required paperwork
- Maintain accurate records of daily maintenance
- Demonstrate support for administrative decisions
- Attend all trainings and complete required certifications
- Other duties as assigned

Position Duties
- Possess, or obtain within 30 days of hire, First Aid and CPR certifications (training will be provided)

- Experience in youth supervision, customer service, or one year working with youth in a coaching or volunteer capacity
Other Qualifications
Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to stand, sit, stoop, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
