Test Lab Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily test lab operations by configuring, staging, and validating workstation-based test environments on Microsoft Workstation systems.
Execute test procedures and document results for scan/capture workflows using Kofax Ascent Capture and Kofax Duplex Scanner, validating expected performance and identifying defects.
Track test activities, issues, and corrective actions using System Center Service Manager (Microsoft), ensuring clear handoffs and traceable resolution.
Monitor lab systems and supporting services using SolarWinds and System Center Operations Manager (Microsoft) to identify conditions that impact testing and availability.
Maintain controlled documentation, test artifacts, and procedures in SharePoint; coordinate test events and status updates through FlankSpeed Teams.
Automate repeatable lab workflows and technician tasks using UiPath to improve consistency and reduce manual effort.
Produce test reports, workflow diagrams, and lab documentation using Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and Project.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance required.
Minimum 6 years of experience supporting test lab operations, technical troubleshooting, and documentation in an IT environment.
Hands-on experience with test lab and capture/scanning technologies: Kofax Ascent Capture, Kofax Duplex Scanner.
Proficiency with Microsoft Workstation environments.
Experience with monitoring and service management tools: SolarWinds, System Center Operations Manager, System Center Service Manager.
Collaboration and documentation skills with SharePoint, FlankSpeed Teams, Microsoft Office Suite (Visio/Project).
Automation experience using UiPath.
CWF Baseline Certification.
