Summary
CBC Mortgage Agency is seeking a detail-oriented, efficient, and knowledgeable Quality Assurance Specialist with good time management and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively resolve problems and issues involving agency and investor guidelines arising from due diligence reviews and investor audits as well as the Company’s third-party quality control vendor.
Compensation: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour DOE, Full-time, Remote, fully eligible for Company comprehensive benefits suite.
Essential Functions

- Supervises monthly Post Purchase QC reporting.
- Ensures timely delivery of Investor Post Purchase QC orders and timely management responses to all audit findings resulting from monthly Investor Post Purchase QC orders.
- Submits final reports to President, EVP and Credit Quality Committee.
- Works together with the Purchase Clearing, QC and Compliance teams to ensure quick resolution of due diligence and investor audit findings.
- Reviews items that are a variation of an actual condition required to determine if the acceptance of a condition is in line with guidance and will be acceptable to the investor.
- Assists in all tasks necessary to ensure quality control standards are met pursuant to HUD, FHA, and Fannie Mae requirements for Quality Control Plans.
- Participates, inter-departmentally, in identifying and developing strategies for process improvements designed to meet service level and productivity objectives and goals.
- Validates findings on loans post-purchase.
- Capacity and competency to perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Conduct and perform audits of Third-party QC vendors.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday with consistent hours.
Travel
No travel is expected.
Required Education and Experience
- Two years or more experience working in Quality Control and/or Assurance in mortgage, banking, or another closely related industry field.
- High School Diploma/GED or higher education degree or certificate.
- 3. Use of Microsoft products and Quality Control systems and procedures.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be authorized to legally work within the United States of America.
