About Smith's EMEA Operations Hub

We play a crucial part in moving the supply chain of electronic components. From inbound, and outbound processes, to testing, and storage; each stage of order processing brings its own challenges.

Are you a detail-oriented, team player that can adapt to changing situations? Join our Quality Specialist talent pool for an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art, testing and logistical facility; to perform electronic component inspections, receiving, and shipping duties.

Essential Job Duties

  • Visually inspect electronic components using a microscope – checking for correct part, part number, quantity, and any potential damage;
  • Interpret component spec sheets;
  • Generate discrepancy reports;
  • Tape and reel duties to oversee automated inspection of components;
  • Maintain contact with procurement specialists and account representatives to resolve issues regarding materials received or shipped;
  • Operate and maintain analytical instruments that perform tests such as: XRF, X-RAY, Bondpull, Decapsulation, Solderability, and more;
  • Support other departments in their operations as needed.

  • Strong verbal and written communicator;

Experience

  • 1+ years’ experience in Quality Control;
  • Electronics industry experience is a big plus.


Software Requirements

  • Comfortable using MS Office;
  • Internet researching skills.


Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift 20 Kg
