Job Description

Description

EOA Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. You will be an integral member of the DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) Operations Team. 

  • Responsible for the automation of requirements management, change management, requirements gathering/tracking, and configuration management. 
  • Projects require automated solutions to effectively manage the requirements, link source documents, and architecture.
  • Shall work with teams to identify, engineer, and implement the most optimum automated solution that follows approved processes for a given project or infrastructure. 
  • Shall work with all other infrastructure support teams as part of a solution to identify, engineer, and implement solutions that integrate with the automation/infrastructure/productivity tools. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Design and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issues
  • Automate DDI workflows to improve efficiency
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv6
  • Maintain awareness of the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

  • Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • IAT Level 1 Certification
  • Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Load Balancing (F5/DTC)
  • Familiar with outages, latency issues, & trouble shooting 
  • Proven experience designing and implementing DDI solutions
  • Experience with load balancing technologies
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with scripting (Perl, Python) and automation tools a plus
  • Shall have a minimum of twenty (20) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Desired: 

  • DNS experience with an understanding of maintenance of Infoblox
  • In-depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
  • Experience applying system engineering methodologies and principles 
  • Familiar with developing modern business methods, and identifying best practices
  • Experienced with executing as key coordinator between multiple project teams
