Job description

As a Workforce Sr Analyst I, you will serve as a technical bridge within the People Analytics team. Your primary mission is to move beyond traditional manual reporting and focus on process automation and data integrity. In this role, you will apply analytical thinking to identify inefficiencies in HR workflows and build automated solutions using Python, SQL, and workflow tools .This is a hands-on role where you will learn how to apply engineering logic to HR challenges, serving as the guardian of data quality for our census, workforce, and compliance reports.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in people analytics, or a similar data-focused HR role.

  • Experience working within the financial services, banking, or FinTech industry in Mexico or USA is essential.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) is required.

  • 2 or more years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis using SQL or Python.

  • 2 or more years of working experience in Data/People analytics.

  • Experience with business intelligence tools (i.e. Quicksight, Looker, Redash)

Job responsibilities

  • Process Automation: Design and implement scripts (Python/SQL) or workflows (n8n/Zapier) to automate repetitive tasks.

  • Reporting & Visualization: Maintain and update recurring workforce reports and dashboards (Looker/QuickSight), ensuring metrics on headcount, attrition, and diversity are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Respond to specific data requests from stakeholders by performing complex data manipulation in Excel or Python to answer business questions.

  • Documentation: Create clear process maps and documentation for all automated workflows to ensure sustainability and knowledge transfer within the team.
