Position Details:

Compliance & Credentialing Oversight

  • Ensure credentialing and onboarding activities meet regulatory standards, including TJC, federal, state, and client-specific requirements  
  • Manage the credentialing process, including licensure verification, background checks, and documentation compliance  
  • Maintain and follow established credentialing policies, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)  
  • Support audit readiness activities, including documentation preparation and participation in internal and external reviews  
  • Serve as a resource for compliance-related questions within the team  

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations of onboarding and credentialing functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness  
  • Set team priorities and ensure alignment with departmental goals  
  • Monitor workflows, capacity, and turnaround times to maintain service levels  
  • Ensure accurate data entry and tracking across systems  
  • Address escalations and resolve operational issues in a timely manner

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce inefficiencies  
  • Support implementation of process improvements, system updates, and automation efforts  
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness  
  • Follow and promote best practices to improve consistency and quality  

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and support team members, including onboarding, training, and performance management  
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment  
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance discussions  
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings and assist in performance evaluations  
  • Communicate priorities, updates, and expectations clearly to the team  

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnaround times, quality, and service levels  
  • Maintain reports and provide updates on team performance  
  • Use data to identify trends and areas for improvement  
  • Escalate risks or compliance concerns to leadership as needed  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams (Sales, Recruiting, HR, Finance, IT) to support onboarding and credentialing needs  
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding experience  
  • Support coordination between teams to resolve issues and improve processes  

Resource & Workflow Management

  • Assist in managing team workload and staffing needs  
  • Support productivity tracking and efficient use of resources  
  • Contribute to workforce planning and scheduling  

Vendor Coordination

  • Support relationships with external vendors involved in credentialing and onboarding  
  • Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues when necessary  
  • Assist in ensuring vendors meet compliance and service expectations
