Time:       Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Job Summary:

• Assist with medically fragile students in the summer school program.  This could include seizure management, g-tube feedings, management of students with diabetes, and respiratory needs requiring suctioning with or without a tracheostomy.  RN will be working within a team of teachers, paraeducators, OT/PT and speech pathologists.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct service and emergency treatment to students in our summer school program
• Follow related Health Plans
• Communication with parents and staff regarding medical issues
• Respond to daily building-based nursing needs

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience delivering services to pediatric population preferred
• Experience collaborating with colleagues
• Experience reading IEPs and Health Plans
• Current CPR certification

Qualifications:

• State of Illinois Nursing Licensure
