Designed for students with substantial experience and advanced skills, such as multiple internships, leadership roles, or specialized training. Best suited for upper-level juniors or seniors with strong practical experience and expertise in their field.

Job Summary

Follows specific instructions and performs clerical work using established routines. Applies limited analysis and problem-solving in performing job duties.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent customer service to BYU-H students , staff and public regarding Medical benefit queries, enrollments, terminations, etc.
  • Reviews enrollment/Change forms, termination forms and ensures they are complete and accurate for processing.
  • Ensures that eligible International BYU-H students and their dependents are enrolled in the the Student Medical.
  • ensures that domestic BYUH students are informed that they can add their dependents to the SMB at the beginning of their first semester.
  • Notify domestic student that they have the option to waive the school's plan.
  • Ensures that BYU-H students not qualified for the SMB is terminated from the plan.
  • Creates files/ scan documents for filing such as enrollments forms , enrollment changes, waivers, terminations, mailings and other office activities in a timely manner.
  • Processing of enrollments, waivers, termination, excel spreadsheets etc.
  • Assist in verifying queries.
  • Respond to emails in a timely manner
  • Assist in Student Orientations, process mails.
  • Assist in determining if all qualified students have adequate medical coverage.
  • Miscellaneous office task such as filing, answering phone calls, addressing issues with students regarding the SMB.
  • Other tasks assigned.

  • Answers phones and greets visitors to resolve routine questions or issues following established procedures and guidelines

  • Makes bookkeeping entries and maintains audit trail files.

  • Files documents in appropriate folders or performs data entry tasks.

  • Handles emails and other correspondences.

  • Uses office machines such as copiers, scanners, and desktop computers.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
