In this role, you will:
- Mentor the development team, conduct code reviews, and help resolve complex technical issues.
- Document all components of the overall solution architecture for Guidewire projects.
- Communicate detailed architecture and implementation plans to the development team.
- Define and enforce best practices, architecture standards, and development guidelines for Guidewire projects, including Guidewire suite applications: ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, PolicyCenter, and ContactManager.
- Implement the solutions you design, mentor other team members, and ensure compliance with the architecture through team oversight.
- Provide technical guidance for migrating on-premise Guidewire applications to the cloud, including establishing CI/CD pipelines while ensuring compliance with cloud standards.
- Perform solution reviews and participate in architectural discussions.
- Provide support during development, testing, and implementation phases.
- Create GUnit test case design strategies to provide code coverage through GUnit test cases and implement them.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other technical teams to understand needs and align solutions with business objectives.
- Document and maintain program specifications according to Centric's standards.
- Build client relationships and participate in business development and proposal work.
- Interview and facilitate meetings with VP-level business stakeholders.
- Travel up to 20% domestically to client locations for training sessions, client presentations, and project proposal finalization.

Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience with Guidewire platform.
- 3 years of experience with Guidewire BillingCenter, including out-of-the-box functionalities like invoicing, payments, commissions, delinquency management, and General Ledger integration.
- 3 years of Integration expertise with working knowledge of SOAP/REST web services, XML, JSON, and experience with integration points and messaging systems.
- Proficient in Gosu scripting, Guidewire Studio, configuration, and integrations.
- In-depth technical and functional knowledge of Claim Center, Billing Center, and Policy Center.
- P&C Insurance Domain Knowledge: understanding of insurance business processes, especially in personal or commercial lines, to align solutions with industry standards.
- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud platform, including experience with self-managed AWS or Azure environments is increasingly important. Familiarity with microservices, integration design patterns, error handling strategies, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, CICD pipelines), Version Control tools (GIT,SVN,GitHub), RDBMS tools (SQL server, H2), and servers (Apache Tomcat, Jetty).
