Since 1945, Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream has been crafting small-batch ice cream fresh daily using original recipes and real ingredients. Known nationwide for quality, portion size, and value, we take pride in serving generous scoops that keep guests coming back.

We’re launching a new Little Italy location in one of San Diego’s busiest, most visible neighborhoods. Built for high volume and strong foot traffic, this store is positioned for a high-energy summer opening.

We are currently building our opening team—a group that will train together and help establish the foundation for long-term success.

This is a grand opening hire, not a typical position.

• Product Knowledge: Learn and confidently present our 48 daily flavors (from over 150 recipes)
  
• Guest Service: Maintain a positive, efficient flow during high-volume periods
  
• Register Operations: Handle transactions accurately and professionally
  
• Store Upkeep: Keep your station clean, organized, and efficient
  
• Team Contribution: Be dependable, communicate clearly, and support your coworkers
  
• Scheduling: Availability for nights, weekends, and peak summer shifts is required
  

• Pay + Tips: $20/hr. starting rate including tip share
