Description

Job Summary:










Aftermarket R&D - Under the direct supervision of the Product Manager for Lane Care, assists with administrative processing, testing, evaluating, marketing, and executing the Aftermarket product development plans.  Assists in providing technical testing support for the lane maintenance product line which may include testing in various areas of the building.   




 



Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Assists in the product development and introduction process. This includes data entry and compilation, Throbot testing, general lane machine testing, product beta-testing, software/user debugging, and all other the necessary steps needed to bring the product to market with the R&D engineering team.

Various tasks to innovate, develop, launch, market, sell, and support the Aftermarket product lines, as required.

Assists in the ongoing review and evaluation of the current lane maintenance product line on how we can create new innovative products.

Provides on-site or customer technical support with lane maintenance services and lane machine installations, as needed.

  • Physically active with the ability to be up and moving for long periods of time.  Ability to bend, kneel, and work in unorthodox positions, and lift at least 80 pounds

  • Ability to meet and maintain a set level of accuracy and efficiency to meet scheduled testing timelines

  • Teamwork and collaboration-oriented, with the ability to work independently

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to work well with people in multiple departments and collaborate professionally with whom the candidate has no formal reporting relationship

  • Ability to work 30 hours per week. Ability to work weekends as needed.

  • Open to feedback and ability to act on developmental areas

  • Energy and passion for bowling

  • Extensive foundational knowledge in bowling lane maintenance

  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Ability to follow written SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for testing and detailed engineering drawings for assemblies.



Experience Required




  • 0-3 years of experience in bowling center operations including extensive knowledge in lane maintenance.



Education Level




  • Some college or technical school graduate and/or equivalent work experience with high tech assemblies. College degree or experience in the bowling industry, preferred.
