Job Description

ADMIN, SAP SECURITY & COMPLIANCE, RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: SAP Security Role Design and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations across SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, etc.). Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure roles align with business processes and segregation of duties (SoD) requirements. Perform periodic reviews and remediation of user access and roles to ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements. User Access Management: Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning processes using SAP GRC or other identity management tools. Troubleshoot and resolve access issues, including authorization errors and role conflicts. Maintain user master records and ensure proper assignment of roles and profiles. Security Monitoring and Compliance: Monitor SAP systems for unauthorized access attempts, security breaches, and policy violations. Conduct regular audits and generate compliance reports for internal and external auditors. Support SOX, GDPR, and other regulatory compliance initiatives by ensuring proper controls are in place. SAP Security Role Design and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations across SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, etc.). Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure roles align with business processes and segregation of duties (SoD) requirements. Perform periodic reviews and remediation of user access and roles to ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements. System Upgrades and Patch Management: Participate in SAP system upgrades, enhancement packs, and support package implementations by validating and testing security roles. Review SAP Notes and apply relevant patches to address security vulnerabilities. Coordinate with Basis and functional teams to ensure minimal disruption during upgrades. Documentation and Training: Create and maintain detailed documentation for security roles, user access procedures, and compliance controls. Provide training and support to end users and project teams on SAP security best practices. Assist in developing security policies and procedures. Incident Response and Support Respond to and resolve SAP security incidents and service requests in a timely manner. Collaborate with IT support teams to investigate and remediate security-related issues. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for SAP systems.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineer, or closely related, plus 3 years of work experience in SAP Security or closely related.

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: EXPERTISE/KNOWLEDGE OF:

  1. SAP Security experience with at least two full life cycle implementations.
  2. Strong knowledge in SAP Security tables and ability to identify authorization errors using SU53 and ST01 to provide support to business.
  3. Proficient experience with SAP security design, build, deployment, and audits for standard role-based Security.
  4. Experience in Security role setup with S/4 Core and/or S/4 EWM Experience in setting up and configuring SAP GRC modules (Access Control, Process Control) and with troubleshooting workflow issues in GRC.
  5. Experience with the NetWeaver products, such as ECC, SCM, CRM, XI BI, QIM, SolMan, EWM.
  6. Experience with SAP authorization concept, role design, user administration, SOX compliance and SOD conflict resolution.
  7. Proficient with various role design models, such as Master/Derive and Value based.
  8. Experience with Fiori Role development Experience in Security role setup with S/4 2021/2022/2023 and work with internal/external auditors, segregation of duties analysis and SOX compliance.

SALARY OFFERED:         $104,790 - $116,000/year

The base compensation range for this role is $104790 – $116000 / year for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
