Job Description
The RV Sales Associate creates meaningful customer connections, understands travel goals, and guides customers to the right RV and products for their lifestyle. This role owns the full customer experience — from first interaction through delivery — while driving individual performance and contributing to dealership growth.
This is a performance-based role with uncapped earning potential for individuals who want control over their income. To support the transition, we offer guaranteed income during the ramp period, contingent on completing training within the first 30 days. Training and coaching are provided to build confidence and capability quickly.
This role is especially suited for individuals coming from hourly or capped-income roles who are ready for their effort to directly impact what they earn.
 
Key Objectives
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by building trust and strong relationships
  • Consistently match customers with the right RV and product solutions to meet their needs
  • Drive individual sales performance through proactive follow-up and customer pipeline management
  • Successfully transition from ramp period into full performance-based earnings
  • Translate strong work ethic and customer interaction skills into measurable sales results
  • Contribute to dealership revenue growth through consistent unit sales and customer satisfaction
Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage every customer with energy, professionalism, and genuine interest
  • Actively listen to uncover customer needs, preferences, and travel goals
  • Present RV options, features, and benefits in a way that connects to the customer’s lifestyle
  • Guide customers through the full sales process, from initial conversation to final delivery
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with leads, showroom traffic, and previous customers
  • Utilize CRM tools to track activity, manage pipeline, and stay organized
  • Apply transferable skills from previous roles (communication, problem-solving, customer service) into a sales environment
  • Participate in training, coaching, and development opportunities to accelerate ramp and performance
  • Take ownership of personal results, activity levels, and overall success
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong work ethic, especially from individuals accustomed to hourly or production-based roles
  • Desire to move beyond a fixed or capped income structure into a performance-driven environment
  • Confidence in communicating and building relationships with a wide range of customers
  • Competitive mindset with a desire to control and grow personal income
  • Coachable attitude with openness to feedback and development
  • Ability to stay organized, follow up consistently, and manage multiple opportunities
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, automotive, retail, or customer-facing roles is highly transferable
  • Sales experience is not required, but a willingness to learn and apply new skills is essential
  • Ability to pass a background and drug test  
  • Demonstrate alignment with the Company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interactions  
Expected Results
  • Consistent engagement with customers resulting in strong conversion rates
  • Achievement of individual sales targets, including units sold and revenue generated (goal: 110 per year)
  • Successful progression from guaranteed ramp period into performance-based earnings
  • Demonstrated ability to translate effort and activity into increased income over time
  • High levels of customer satisfaction and repeat/referral business
  • Active and organized pipeline management within CRM
  • Continuous improvement in product knowledge, sales approach, and overall performance
