Description
Heavy Equipment Road Service Technicians travel to and work in customer facilities, interacting and communicating with the customers to keep their equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, planned maintenance, and repairs
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure safety compliance
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of mechanic experience, familiarity with LP and diesel, and is proficient with diagnosis and repair on engines and hydraulics. We also need technicians with electrical knowledge and experience.
Heavy Equipment Technicians need to be self-motivated, self-directed, highly responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills are needed in order to successfully interact with co-workers, managers and customers.
Our goal is to have customers’ equipment up and running on our first visit. Out of town travel and overnight stays may be required.
A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
