Gibson is looking for a digital native who thrives in social media and understands how to turn content into commerce. This role will drive digital marketing for Gibson Garage Miami while supporting the broader Gibson brand narrative. Success is measured equally by retail growth and brand engagement.
Essential Functions
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement social media strategies for Gibson Garage Miami across primary platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube).
- Align local content with Gibson HQ’s global social ecosystem to maintain brand consistency.
Content Creation & Storytelling
- Produce compelling photo, video, and copy that tells a story and drives engagement.
- Capture live events, behind-the-scenes moments, and retail activations.
Event & Activation Support
- Help organize and promote consumer and corporate events.
- Partner with Gibson Artist Relations to advocate for artist visits, organize activations, and create artist-driven content.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Interface with HQ Brand Design for graphics packages (digital, retail POP, etc.).
- Work closely with marketing and retail teams to ensure cohesive campaigns.
CRM & Performance Marketing
- Support efforts to grow email signups and integrate CRM initiatives into social campaigns.
- Deliver performance-marketing-ready assets for paid campaigns.
Retail Marketing Support
- Help concept and execute in-store activations and promotions to drive traffic and engagement.
- Assist with non-social marketing activities that contribute to overall business growth.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Bilingual: English/Spanish (preferred but not required)
- Proven experience in social media management and digital content marketing.
- Strong skills in video production, photography, and copywriting.
- Understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and analytics tools.
- Ability to work within a larger brand ecosystem while driving local initiatives.
- Passion for music, culture, and storytelling.
Required Education and Experience
- B.S in Marketing or equivalent degree or related work experience
- 3+ years of experience with content creation, social platform engagement and campaign execution
Essential Knowledge
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, and emerging platforms
- Knowledge of platform best practices, trends, and algorithm basics
- Basic photo/video editing (CapCut, etc.)
- Ability to shoot quick social-first content on mobile
- Excellent copywriting skills with clean grammar and strong attention to tone/voice
- Ability to write engaging captions and CTA-driven social copy

Travel Requirements
- The position is based in the Miami Garage Miami but may involve irregular travel
Physical Demands
- Must be able to have a flexible schedule and work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work in a loud environment for 8+ hours.
- Standing and walking required 90% of the time.
- Lifting required 20% of the time with a max weight of 50lbs.
