About the role:

 

Reporting directly to the Method Development Supervisor, you will lead the development and optimisation of analytical methods for drug substances and products, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and provide scientific expertise to drive product development and method validation excellence.

 

The working hours for this role is Monday to Friday, 8:00pm to 5:00pm finish. The key focus areas are to provide scientific leadership in analytical method development and troubleshooting to deliver robust, compliant product development outcomes at Argenta.

 

You will be required to comply with pharmaceutical good manufacturing practices (GMP), principles and protocols and follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards in a safe and timely manner.



About you:

 

We are looking for someone who is an experienced analytical chemist with expertise in method development, validation and troubleshooting across pharmaceutical or product development environments. Strong problem-solver with a scientific mindset, capable of delivering robust analytical solutions and technical leadership in complex R&D settings.

 

Naturally energetic and driven, you will have a keen focus on quality and attention to detail, essential in meeting the stringent pharmaceutical regulations we adhere to.

 

Your background, experience and attributes will include:

 

  • Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Analytical Method Development [minimum 15 yrs experience].
  • Experience in a GMP / GLP compliant environment.
  • Expert in using and troubleshooting key Analytical Instruments and software.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical regulatory approval processes and requirements for submission of Drug Substance and Drug Product.
  • Providing technical expertise and direction to a team of Chemists.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • The ability to manage resources to meet changing priorities.
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to pick up new packages and processes easily.
  • Strong numeracy skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
