We are currently seeking candidates for the following position!

HW Engineer is in charge of the HW testing and debug environment setup, assist to identify the related hardware engineering issue, communicate with HQ team and vendors to make product can be delivered on time.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • ·        Assist the engineers to solve the engineering issue timely.
  • ·        Set up HW testing and debug environment.
  • ·        collaborate with R&D to find out the root cause.
  • ·        Support the manufacturing debug team troubleshoot.
  • ·        Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to R&D, manufacturing, and customer.
  • ·        Measure the signal waveform and support the bring up test

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • ·        Operate the oscilloscope and Digital multi-meter
  • ·        Solder wire and rework PCB board
  • ·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • ·        Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • ·        Excellent organizational skills and diligence.
  • ·        Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • ·        Highly Emotional intelligence skills.
  • ·        Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • ·        Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • ·        Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • ·        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • ·        Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

 

Education and Experience:

  • ·        Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • ·        Knowledge of/Experience in/Proficiency in server/storage/PC hardware architecture
  • ·        Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills and communication skills.
  • ·        Experience working in manufacturing and/or product development role.
  • ·        Firsthand lab debug experience with scopes is desirable.
  • ·        Experience in designing circuit boards is desirable.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • ·        Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • ·        Must be able to lift fifteen pounds at times.
  • ·        Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • ·        Requirements are subject to change, if necessary, to comply with departments needed
