Addus Homecare is seeking an inspiring and strategic Area Vice President to lead with purpose, compassion, and operational excellence in our Hospice Division supporting our Pacific Northwest Region. The ideal candidate will be based in Oregon. Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or administrative experience in a hospice or home health setting
- Current or recent experience managing a minimum of 10M in healthcare annualized revenue
- Success in revenue growth and in the development and execution of market planning
- Track record of growth and experience with business development
- Knowledge of healthcare policies and reimbursement practices
- Extensive experience in business and clinical operations.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and development.
- Excellent in managing human resources
- Ability to complete necessary documentation appropriately, legibly, and timely
- Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills necessary to complete job responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will have profit and loss (P&L) experience in hospice or other healthcare services.
- Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance.
What You�ll Do:
- Efficient operational infrastructure to support the business site and goals, strategic planning, staffing, employee development, and human resources management and financial management including profit and loss, budgeting financial forecasting and active plan development.
- Provide the leadership necessary to maintain a motivated, productive and competent management team through open communication and delegation of responsibilities and authority; guide and direct subordinate executives in their professional development.
- Responsible for executing strategies through a decentralized management structure to meet or exceed annual goals and objectives in five areas:
- Growth, ADC, Revenue
- Compliance, Clinical Operations, and Quality Assurance
- Site operations and Profitability
- Patient/Family Satisfaction
- Staff management.
- This position has profit and loss responsibility for the site(s) and must develop and manage an annual budget.
- Partner with Sales counterpart to ensure continued branch growth by expanding new and existing client base.
- Develop annual branch budget and monitor expenditures
- Oversee delivery of covered hospice medical care and benefits within region.
- Direct all daily operations including business development, program development around hospice including market expansions.
- Recruit, select and retain highly qualified professionals.
- Serves as a key liaison between site, Executive Director and Corporate.
