Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty
position at the Assistant Professor level in Engineering Management. Our
teaching-focused mission is “to provide students with the world’s best

By
the time of appointment, candidates must hold a doctorate in
engineering management, industrial
engineering or closely related field. We seek dynamic, student-centered educators committed to excellence in
teaching undergraduate and graduate courses across the engineering management disciplines.
Preferred candidates will bring strong teaching experience, relevant
professional accomplishments, and the academic background necessary to teach
courses (or practicums) in areas such as Quality Engineering (e.g., Quality
Control, Six Sigma), Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Operations
Management, Engineering Economy, and Business Management/Strategy.
Essential
responsibilities include delivering rigorous, engaging coursework aligned with
departmental and institutional goals; teaching in multiple modalities;
fostering inclusive learning environments with timely feedback; maintaining
office hours and providing academic guidance; advising students at all levels;
contributing service to the department, institute, and profession; and pursuing
ongoing professional development. The department and institute place a high

Applicants should
submit a CV/resume, cover letter, and statement of
teaching that includes evidence of, or potential for teaching effectiveness
highlighting use of inclusive pedagogical practices, collaborative mindset, and
cultural fluency, and a statement of professional development/research
objectives involving undergraduate students. Finalist candidates will also be
asked to provide contact information for at least three professional references
capable of commenting on the appropriateness of their candidacy at Rose-Hulman.
