Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with month-end processes.
Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and relevant tax regulations.
Liaise with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries promptly.
Support senior accountants and auditors with ad hoc tasks and reporting as required.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting principles
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
Good communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
