10-week Engagement May 2026 – August 2026

About the job:  

  • Strong ability to communicate clearly, influence others, and support effective collaboration across teams

  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization with cross-functional and global stakeholders, demonstrating cultural awareness and adaptability

  • Support the Pain Innovation Team in developing and evaluating product attributes and clinical benefits for the US OTC portfolio, aligned with category strategy and consumer needs

  • Provide support to an R&D Lead by contributing across multiple categories and functional areas as needed

  • Prepare and present a final project focused on a key topic relevant to Opella’s OTC business by the end of the internship
     

Main responsibilities:  

  • The successful candidate will possess strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

  • He/She will be at ease working in a matrix environment and display the necessary multicultural sensitivity in such a Global context.

  • He/She will assist the Pain Innovation Team in the development and testing of product attributes and clinical benefits for the US product portfolio in line with the category vision and consumer needs.

  • He/She will be working for an R&D Lead and assist across categories and disciplines as needed.

  • Responsible for presenting one key topic relevant to Opella’s OTC business by the close of the internship.
     

About you: 

  • A strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader.

  • Must be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and/or combination of mechanical engineering and material science at an accredited university with plans to graduate in near future.

  • Must have permanent US work authorization.

  • Love to learn in different ways to stretch and adapt beyond current comfort zone.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively on a team.

  • Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.

  • Proactively take action to create added value.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills – know how to prioritize.

  • Dare to ask questions (Curious. Courageous).

All Compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
