Job Description

Rising Hope Therapy is Seeking a Passionate and Experienced Mental Health Clinical Supervisor!

Description

Clinical Supervisor — Rising Hope Therapy Newark, Delaware | Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 remote)Thurs-Saturday in-office/ | Full-time, Salaried

About Us

Rising Hope Therapy is a behavioral health practice rooted in a clear mission: to provide clinically excellent, ethical, and culturally responsive care to the communities we serve, with particular attention to marginalized populations. We are growing thoughtfully, and we are looking for a Clinical Supervisor who wants to be part of building something meaningful alongside us.

The Role

The Clinical Supervisor is the steward of clinical quality and clinician development at RHT. You'll carry a meaningful caseload of 15–17 sessions per week so you stay grounded in the work, and you'll dedicate the rest of your time to supervising and developing our clinical team.

This is a clinical leadership role — not an administrative one. Your focus is the craft: supervising clinicians, reviewing documentation, consulting on complex cases, and supporting the professional growth of the people doing this work every day.

What You'll Do

  • Provide regular individual and group clinical supervision to assigned clinicians, including co-signing documentation and serving as supervisor-of-record for clinicians working toward licensure where applicable
  • Review clinical documentation for accuracy, ethical compliance, and quality, and address patterns through supervision and training
  • Consult on complex, high-acuity, or ethically nuanced cases, including risk and crisis situations
  • Identify clinical training needs and recommend topics in coordination with our Clinical Programs Manager
  • Maintain a personal caseload of 15–17 completed sessions per week, providing culturally responsive, evidence-informed therapy
  • Provide a brief weekly report to the CEO and escalate clinical, ethical, or staff concerns promptly

What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a closely related clinical mental health field
  • Active Delaware licensure as an LCSW, LPCMH, LMFT, or equivalent independent clinical license
  • Minimum 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • Authorization under Delaware regulations to provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, mental health ethics, and Delaware licensure board requirements
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (SimplePractice strongly preferred)

Preferred but not required: prior supervisory experience in private practice or outpatient settings, specialized training in clinical supervision, and experience supervising clinicians who serve BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and historically underserved communities.

Schedule

In office Thursday-Saturday, remote Tues and Wed. Some flexibility exists; details will be discussed in the offer. The Clinical Supervisor shares a leadership office with our Clinical Programs Manager on a coordinated schedule.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salaried, exempt position; salary confirmed in offer letter
  • Paid time off, paid holidays, and paid bereavement
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance per eligibility terms
  • 401(k) with up to 3% employer match
  • Continuing education support
  • Annual performance review with potential for compensation adjustment

A Note on Sustainability

We have intentionally designed this role to be sustainable. The caseload is bounded, the scope is clearly defined, and remote days are protected. We expect our Clinical Supervisor to model healthy boundaries for the team — because that's part of how we build a practice people stay at.

Equal Opportunity

Rising Hope Therapy is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law. We are committed to building a workplace that reflects the communities we serve.
