The Impact of a Social Impact Lead at Coupa:
The Social Impact Lead joins a dynamic Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) team, focused on social impact and sustainability. In this role, the Social Impact Lead will oversee Coupa鈥檚 social impact program, Coupa Cares, where you will drive strategy initiatives for employee volunteering, philanthropy and nonprofit strategic partnerships. You will be instrumental in evolving our Coupa Cares programs to increase employee engagement through volunteering, employee giving, corporate grantmaking, and internal and external communications.
What You'll Do:
- Manage Coupa鈥檚 employee volunteering and giving platform, coordinating global engagement for virtual and in-person employees.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute social impact initiatives, including Global Impact Week events.
- Lead philanthropic donation efforts by identifying nonprofit partners aligned with Coupa鈥檚 ESG priorities.
- Draft and distribute communications to promote giving programs using internal and external platforms.
- Support the development of strategic social impact partnerships and ESG collaborations.
- Track and report key social impact metrics, while assisting with budgeting, invoicing, and administrative tasks.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- 7+ years of experience, including 5 years in community development and social impact.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive, action-oriented mindset.
- Skilled in project management, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Effective at multitasking and prioritizing in fast-paced environments.
- Collaborative team player with experience working across time zones and functions.
- Passionate about driving impact, with a flexible attitude and interest in building new programs.
