Job Summary

Operate radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images; position patients, select techniques per protocol, assist during sterile procedures, and document accurately in Meditech. Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and room readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Select/operate radiography equipment; position patients; determine proper technique and evaluate images for quality/identifiers.
  • Support exams under sterile conditions; inject contrast under direct in-house supervision; verify informed consent for invasive procedures.
  • Complete Meditech procedure documentation and charges; burn study CDs; maintain room stock and equipment.
  • Assist with patient transport and education; follow HIPAA, infection control, and biohazard disposal procedures.

Job Qualifications

Required

  • Completion of a recognized program in Radiologic Science & Technology; Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License; BLS; English proficiency.

Preferred

  • ARRT (R) registry (or registry-eligible within 1 year); meets ARRT CE requirements.
