Description
- Assist with duties related to production, production expansion and interdepartmental production flow.
- Assist with general shipping duties including the removal of tape, preparation of units & weighing/packing a variety of product.
- Prepare SAP Shipments & assist in the paint/prep area.
- Assist in the unloading of incoming parts and product placement within Inventory.
- Assist in the pulling of parts from inventory in preparation of Gearbox and/or Motor Assembly.
- Other various shop-floater duties that revolve around production expansion or production fulfillment.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years preferred, but not required. Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
- Skills and Key Attributes: ability to read and write. Basic math skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 10 hours/day.
Summary
The primary role of the Production Utility Specialist is to act as a production floater between departments (based on business need). Primary job responsibilities will fall within the Shipping function, but employees may also perform Inventory, Motor/Gearbox Assembly Support and general labor functions associated with facility expansions.
